Children's Engineering Day, March 9

On Children's Engineering Day, young budding scientists learn what it means to be an engineer. The focus is on the joy of creation and invention. Children's Engineering Day is organized in collaboration with NITO, which together with the science centers has a common goal of promoting interest in technology and science among children and young people.

Program

There will be activities at NITO stands around the park:

- Construction activity at Atlanterhavstanken at 10-12.30 under the auspices of the NITO students. Have a chat with young budding engineers and get a prize if your building is approved in quality control.

- The drawing room is open 10-14. Draw an engineer!

- Photo competition: NITO cup to anyone who takes a photo at the photo wall and posts on social media with #barnasingeniørdag #mittnito #atlanterhavsparken.

- Lego room with missions.

Join us as we feed the penguins, seals and otters outside, as well as the fish in the large Atlantic tank. You can also fish for crabs and meet the animals in the activity room.

Registration

Members of NITO with family/friends get a discounted price on this day; NOK 205 for an ordinary ticket and NOK 105 for a child ticket. Registration takes place on NITO's website, but you pay on arrival. Show your SMS confirmation sent out by NITO the day before.
