Science Centre

Learning activities

The Science Centre is the perfect place for kindergarten and school children to learn more about the ocean. At the centre, you can explore phenomena relating to nature, the environment, health and technology both through your own activities and through interacting with others.

We offer learning programmes which create engagement and curiosity. To get the most out of a visit to us, our learning programmes linked to the Science Centre's exhibitions combined with the aquarium are highly recommended. This will provide a deeper understanding of phenomena and interrelationships in the ocean.

When you visit us, you can decide for yourself whether or not you wish to follow a learning programme. Our instructors develop pre- and post-session tasks which place emphasis on a broad understanding of the topic covered by the learning programme through activities and exercises. We plan multidisciplinary tasks by linking several subject areas together, so that more of the learning goals for the age group concerned can be achieved. For kindergartens, the content of the framework plan will be taken into account throughout the learning programme.
