Atlanterhavsparken is growing not only in the number of visitors, but also in the number of employees. More people have joined during the year, and the three started in mid-August. Two to the science center💙 Cecilie Tynes Riksem has been appointed as a communicator in the Science Center department. She is responsible for developing and implementing learning programs for school classes, kindergartens, students and teachers. Cecilie has over 10 years of experience from the college and university sector, with education in cell and molecular biology, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pedagogy and chemistry. In addition, she is the editor and co-author of the chemistry podcast Rosa begerglass, together with former NTNU colleague Gro A. H. Bjørnøy. Jørgen Waage has the same title and has also become part of the science center department. He has previously worked as an upper secondary school teacher and holds a lecturer's degree in science from NMBU. In addition, he has experience from fish farming and has taken further education in nature guidance and outdoor life. Jørgen is also a keen scuba diver, and his goal is to be trained enough to be able to take part in the diving shows in the large tank at Atlanterhavsparken. Own marketing coordinator💙 Celine Hjeltnes has been an external marketing consultant for Atlanterhavsparken for a number of years and knows the foundation well. She is now employed in a newly created position as marketing coordinator with responsibility for the marketing of Atlanterhavsparken, including social media, websites, profiling and much more. Celine has an education in marketing, innovation and management. Competence boost Kjetil Aarseth, CEO of Atlanterhavsparken, is pleased that the foundation continues to attract highly skilled employees. - " Atlanterhavsparken is the voice of the sea.
