Join us as the aquarist feeds the fish and talks about life in the sea!
In the exhibition "Holmer and Skjær" we find ourselves in a real coastal environment — at the edge of the archipelago where the vast ocean breaks over rocks and pebbles. Here, fish dominate the basin: schooling fish such as mackerel, flounder and skate, and other species that find food and shelter around the kelp forests.
During the activity, you will join our aquarist as the food flies into the water. At the same time, the aquarist will talk about the different types of fish, their lifestyles and adaptations.
This is a vibrant and educational experience for both children and adults — perfect for those who want to experience the ocean up close and learn more about life in the coastal zone. Come and see, hear and experience!

The science centers and Tekna spread the joy of scienceTekna turns 150 in 2024 and is celebrating by donating NOK 150,000 to all the country's science centers so that more students can visit their local center in the coming year. For Atlanterhavsparken , the donation means that we can also visit schools that are unable to come to us. We will contact the schools that are offered the opportunity to teach 5th-7th grade and look forward to reaching more pupils with our learning programs.
