The central disc is approx. 20 mm in diameter and the arms approx. 100 mm
From the lower part of the shore zone to relatively deep water.
Widely distributed in the Northeast Atlantic from northern Norway to the Mediterranean and West Africa. On the Norwegian coast north to the west coast of Finnmark.
Zooplankton (especially copepods)
