Giant slime worm
Latin: Lineus longissimus

Up to 60 meters
Levested:
Both hard and soft bottom in shallow water up to the spring zone.
Distribution:
Large parts of the Atlantic Ocean. From Telemark to Troms in Norway.
Food:
Eating a wide variety of food, the species is a predator that can eat crabs, snails and polychaetes, among other things. It can also eat carrion.
Facts about Giant Slime Worm
The giant slime worm is the longest animal in the world and can grow up to 60 meters long!
