Size:
Up to 21 cm long body and 5 cm long tentacles.
Levested:
Soft bottom from 2-100 meters.
Distribution:
Found in the Barents Sea, near Spitsbergen and south to Biscay. Found from the Swedish border to West Finnmark.
Food:
Plankton
Most of the anemone's body is under the sand, and it can close quickly into the buried tube in case of danger.
