Thrives in rock crevices or under rocks from shallow water down to 40 meters. Discovered down to a depth of 200 meters.
Distribution:
Northern distribution from the British Isles northwards to Iceland. Found along the entire Norwegian coast.
Food:
Mussels, polychaetes and hydroids.
The horned crab is unique with its bushy headdress just above the eyes.
