The coast of Portugal, the south and west coast of the British Isles and the east coast of Scotland. In Norway from the Swedish border and north to Trøndelag.
Food:
Crustaceans, mussels and snails.
The male builds nests among the algae. It attracts female fish and guards the eggs until they hatch.
