Feeding the fish in the spectacular Atlantic Tank

The Atlantic Tank is one of Europe's largest saltwater tanks and is stocked with the large coldwater fish species that can be found in our marine waters

This tank contains no less than 4 million litres of unfiltered seawater, which we pump directly from a point 800 metres offshore of Atlanterhavsparken at a depth of 45 metres. This means that the quality of the water is the same as the water in the sea.

At 1pm daily, we feed the fish and you can join in too! See cod, halibut, catfish and skate, while one of our skilled aquarists talks about the various species.
