Cecilie Tynes Riksem

Cecilie is employed as a communicator at Atlanterhavsparken Vitensenter, and is responsible for developing and implementing learning programs for school classes, kindergartens, students and teachers.

She is a strong believer in exploratory learning in safe learning communities, and is a supporter of alternative, student-active teaching programs linked to labs, fields, project work, podcasts and academic festivals.

She has over 10 years of experience from the college and university sector, with education in cell and molecular biology, biotechnology, molecular medicine, pedagogy and chemistry. In addition, she is the editor and co-author of the chemistry podcast Rosa begerglass, together with former NTNU colleague Gro A. H. Bjørnøy.
