Cafe and Events Department
Ole Christian is our first aquarium chef, having previously been head chef at the Klippfisk Academy cookery school. Although Ole has worked as a chef in Ålesund for many years, he is originally from Notodden.
He is passionate about local food and seafood in particular. He has also worked as a chef and salesman at J & J Dybvik.
At the aquarium, he is responsible for our café and corporate hospitality facilities on the second floor. He is looking forward to developing the café with a focus on homemade food, ideally using local ingredients.
