Size:
Up to 20 cm in diameter.
Levested:
Mostly found on sandy bottoms and sandy muddy bottoms. Most common from 10-20 meters deep, but can be found down to 1000 meters.
Distribution:
Found in the Mediterranean and from Morocco to northern Norway.
Food:
Clams, starfish and sea stars.
